NAMI - National Alliance on Mental Illness
Mental illness is real. NAMI helps make that reality easier to face.
"Lost" books will be placed around NYC for people to find.
ABOUT THE BOOKS
Each book stresses the importance of mental health and the realities of mental illness.

When finished, readers are asked to return the books to the NAMI kiosks at the New York Public Library so they can be shared again.
Copies would be available for checkout inside the library, and for purchase online.
Bookmarks hidden inside the library would encourage readers to check out the Face Reality series.
Music lifts mood, reduces anxiety, raises motivation, helps combat depression, and so much more.
After making a return, users are asked to answer a few questions about their emotions and music taste for a customized Pandora playlist.
They will also have the option to make a donation, become a NAMI member, or join NAMI's email list.
Kiosks in other parts of the city will offer the same services as the book returns.
Once accessing their Pandora stations, listeners have the option to chat with those who received the same station. This provides a comfortable atmosphere to discuss serious and not-so-serious topics, in the company of people facing similar struggles.
Free anonymous therapy sessions will be offered to educate the public. Slots can be reserved via kiosk.
